Also I get free slot play and free food or drink credits. So it's best to sign up for the players club card.

Let's face it you never really use your hotel room in Vegas other than taking a shower and getting a few winks at night. So the room doesn't have to be the penthouse suite at Caesars or Bellagio.

The best part of Excalibar is the location. It's on the south end of the strip next to pretty much every major casino. All within walking distance. The staff is always been friendly they've always upgraded my room for free and as for the gaming floor there isn't a lot of kids running around that's only in the kid gaming area. Best place for your buck!!

Lots of families here and so lots of kids around. The hotel is old and really needs to be torn down. There are four towers to get to your rooms and that makes it a long way from your room for it seems like it takes you 15 min to get to the casino! Food is OK nothing to brag about. Gambling was horrible, machines never paid anything....I decided not to go back here again.

I had an efficient check in. My room was very nice it was their standard room and it seemed very clean.
My check out was fast despite a long line as they expedited the check out. The lunch buffet had some very good items others were decent quality. vp not good at .25 level.

Reasonable room rates. Buffet forgettable. A good variety of food choices. The Tournament Banquet is a must do. Some decent vp but not a lot. I happen to like the medieval decor and format. Pool area is good for the range of prices.

We walked over from the Tropicana Hotel Casino where we were staying.
It had been many years since we had last been here but we didn't notice anything different. Whenever we come to Las Vegas
I carry an old Excalibur dollar coin that I got many years ago for luck.

It's in a great spot on the strip, at affordable rates. The buffet continues to underwhelm year after year and should be avoided. The rooms have been modernized, but they are nothing special. The pool area has also been upgraded and is one of the nicer features of this property. This property continues to draw families.

Excalibur Hotel-Casino: Excalibur- Still One of My Favorites

It was my parents 10th wedding anniversary and my Aunt & Uncle who live near Vegas wanted to find some casinos that cater more towards kids for me to enjoy. Of course there's Circus Circus which we visited, but also The Excalibur. With video games galore, and I believe at the time a motion simulator I had a blast.

Fast forward to 2010 and I fell in love with Excalibur all over again. Many of my casino reviews will be highly rated, and I guess that's because I understand and take each casino I visit for what it is/means. Sure, I wish they still had Merlin outside to fight the dragon, but this place still holds a ton of nostalgia. Cheap table games, somewhat decent slot, it ain't really that bad!

There's something still very special about walking up Las Vegas Blvd. and seeing that huge castle that makes me grin.
