My biggest problem with Caesars is the attitudes of some of its employees. I've had a waitress give me a lecture on Chinese medicine because I have to take pills for diabetes. I've had the parking clerk threaten to call the police on me because she wouldn't take my parking voucher and I refused to pay. I've had a clueless reservation agent tell me that I should pay for my room instead of getting it comped. Many of their employees don't realize that I can go elsewhere.

Also the table minimums can be ridiculous. On a slow weekday morning in winter, the lowest blackjack table was $25.

The good thing is that it is the easiest casino in town to get to since it's almost right off the Atlantic City Expressway.

Careful when you play in the high limit slot area. We are diamond status members and spend thousands in the high limit area playing slots from $25 to $100. On our last trip August 20, 2011 we observed that a 7 star member asked an employee to shut down a $100 machine so she can play it later. I had 1000's in that machine and was going to try myself again. However, the machine was now "reserved" for that person, and therefore the gaming odds were changed for everyone else. This is not illegal but highly questionable conduct. I requested to speak to a manager because. Took forever but the floor manager showed up because I had repeatably asked and insisted to see a manager. The floor manager endorsed the employees behavior and told me that sometimes machines are reserved for 7 star players when they go to the restroom or dinner. In this case however the lady was 10 feet from us playing other machines. The good odds on that machine were waiting for her and were not available for the rest of you people. MAKE SURE YOU GET FAIR ODDS AND ARE NOT CHEATED OUT OF YOUR CHANCE TO WIN IN FAVOR OF ONE OF THEIR 7 - STAR MEMBERS.

I am a Quarter slot player. I have visited this property two times in 2009. On my first visit I hit some good jackpots. On my next visit they took my money back. The atmosphere was very good.

I have gambled all over the country, but this is the first casino that I was accousted while playing a machine for money by a panhandler. I reported it to security and they didn't seem concerned.

The hotel rooms were very nice. One thing that confused me about their food service was that during the week their buffet was closed for breakfast. We had to go over to Bally's to eat breakfast. On my first visit the buffet was open for breakfast over the weekend. The food wasn't very good for a Caesar's property. Overall this property is not too bad. I have stayed at a lot worse.

Rooms vary widely depending on the tower and floor. Was assigned a beautiful two room suite in Ocean Tower that had 19" tube tvs, almost like they got tired halfway through a remodel. Windows rarely clean as fog/mist from the ocean coat them nightly.

Addition of The Pier and Mia in the lobby finally give this place a few legitimate dining options besides Morton's. Comp points are worth half as much at Pier eateries as they are in the the casino. This is a step up from CP Las Vegas as points are not usable in Forum Shop restaurants. The Diamond Lounge is a very nice room with a great ocean view. Bar service at main bar in casino spotty and frequently unfriendly.

Good video poker options dwindling but still available. Table limits which were formerly high have dropped since economy tanked, with five dollar tables available all weekend during my Jan 09 visit. Music in the casino is unusual. It's a mix of bad am radion and very bad lounge music from the 70s. Drink service in casino spotty but a hefty tip on drink 1 seems to be the determining factor. Lots of hooker action later in the evening if you're so inclined.

Caesars was the nicest property in A.C. until Borgata was built.

I have stayed here twice. Once in the new tower and once in the old tower.

You definitely don't want to stay in the old tower. It's like going into a time warp - back 20 years. The elevators are very slow and very cramped. The rooms have old, noisy air conditioners and they are slow to cool the room. The only good part was that the beds were very comfortable.

They do have a good video poker game for quarter players. It's a 9/6 Jacks or better game with a progressive jackpot for the royal flush. You can find it near the main escalator in the casino.
