Borgata is probably one of the nicest casinos in AC; but you have be a big fish to play in a big pond. They are well known for their poker and it's certainly worth going if that's your thing. However, if you consider yourself a low roller or someone that simply enjoys playing mid-range bets, you are not going to find yourself at black card status anytime soon. They cater to higher end clientele and if you're not ready to ante up some bucks, you aren't going to get very far in status. Overall, Borgata has a nice restaurant selection, the environment is pleasant and there are a ton of slot machines. If you're looking for a nice night out or you enjoy the high life, Borgata is probably one of the best choices in AC.

My wife and I recently visited the Borgata. With the exception of the slot machines, we had a nice time. The room we had and the Buffet was excellent. Slot machines were so bad and in deplorable condition, we had to seek out to other casinos in the area to at least break even.

Nice new building, large and impressive. Many activities, some shopping and great food. But the gaming is no different than the other AC casinos. The payback rates are about the same - pretty low.



Now if someone in AC would open a casino with paybacks along the lines of Las Vegas, they would have a real winner. Botton line, Borgata is great for tourists, not good for players.
