RUN, do not walk, away from this facility! Outside temp was 97, temp in room when we arrived was at least 85. Cooling system could not get it cooled down. TV did not work correctly. Light burned out in bathroom, could not shower. After 3 personal visits to the front desk, no maintenance man, so insisted on a new room. It was even worse. Live moth in the closet area. It also never cooled down adequately. When we awoke the next morning, no water pressure so could not shower. Commode toilet tank did not refill after use, so had to pour water from cooler into the tank to get a flush. The room was filthy, towels threadbare, and no Wi-Fi (had to go to the Atrium in the main level to get internet service.

The personnel were totally disinterested in our issues. Bartender was more intent on monitoring his electronic device than serving the public. Likewise at the front desk. Tiles loose or missing from the elevator floor; ashtrays overflowing, floors filthy. We decided to eat at the (pricey) steak house with the hopes of getting a decent meal. We were only the second customers in after it opened at 5:00 p.m., and the floor was littered with crumbs and other filth; obviously it had not been vacuumed from the previous night (or who knows how long). The waitress (Mercedes) tried her best to put on a good face in a ridiculous situation. The first two bottles of wine featured on the "new wine list" were unavailable. The spinach salad with warm dressing could not be ordered because they were "out of the dressing."

This hotel has the filthiest facilities and the most apathetic/obnoxious help I have ever experienced in my 20 years as a "road warrior." They should be reported to the health department. I cannot warn off potential customers strongly enough.

Oh, yes, after registering the problems with the front desk, they offered us a 30% discount for our "inconvenience". Talk about adding insult to injury ..... I tried multiple times to talk personally to the manager (Shift Supervisor, actually, since the Manager was "on vacation"), but immediately went to voice mail every time. This place should be shut down.

this is the best place to gamble in wendover period!the environment may not seem like it but it is.loosest slots in the town, very friendly video poker, and very roomy tables.the sports bet is also very convenient but may be hard to find as its stuck in the back in the corner.also, the comps program beats out all others in the area.

the rooms are adequate if you're in the main rooms.if you're in the tower,be prepared to journey back to 1986.

the downside of this casino is the food.the buffet and the restaurant are the worst.the service in the buffet is ok,but you run the risk of getting sick.the restaurant is even worse.they are truly the black eye of this establishment.the service is extremely rude and they seem to go out of their way to do so.also, the wait time is ridiculous.

however, even though they all share the same kitchen i think, the steak house is a shining ray of light as far as food there.they are courteous, fast, and delicious.i highly recommend them and the lobster bisque.there is also a nice little taco place that is good and not part of the buffet or restaurant.

also, there is no weight room or workout facility

I recently stayed at the Wendover Nugget and it was a horrible experience. They messed up our reservation and when we went to check in tried to charge us 3 times as much as we had booked our room for. They had booked the wrong room and the rate on the room we had asked for had gone up by then. They said that rate we had reserved was no longer available and would not give it to us. We thought the mistake could be resolved easily enough and asked to speak to the manager. Manager Brandon MIller was very rude and upcooperative. He couldn't fathom the idea that they had made a mistake and accused us of lying. Even though he verified the rate we said we had reserved was available the day we booked it he said he had no "proof" that we asked for that rate. Any normal person would ask for the best available rate right? I would never call and say please charge me double or better yet triple!! Anyway after going around in circles about getting the rate he told us that was the price and we could take it or go elsewhere!! I couldn't believe that this was someone who was considered a manager! I know a lot about customer service and would never speak to anyone that way. I would have loved to have gone somewhere else but at that point the other casinos were booked up so we were stuck taking it. As far as the stay the beds in the room were not very comfortable and the light in the bathroom was very dim and flickered. There was a hole in the wall in our room and the steak buffet was not very good. We also went to a restaurant in the casino that had us wait for 45 min for our food and didn't bring one person in our group a plate when they brought the food. After a few minutes they told us they were out of what she had ordered and she needed to pick something else. I just wonder why didn't they realize that when the order was placed 45 min prior? I would not recommend this place. It may be slightly less expensive but they are lacking in service and common sense.

I've been going to this casino since it was The Stateline. Have always had pretty good luck, but the rooms are a bit old and the food leaves something to be desired. I still love it.
