I don't see this place remaining open for much longer. No more table games, just 3 Virtual Blackjack games..Very few slots...and one animated virtual dog racing game..it was pretty cool but the overall idea I am getting is that they are about to close this place..I don't see how they make enough money to stay open..It is sad because we always enjoyed checking out the place every time we go to Vegas.
This place used to be a fun little place to go when you didn't want a "big casino" experience. But in my last few trips, I have noticed the service has gotten quite poor, and there is little selection in games left. Used to go for the virtual blackjack, but even it has been removed now,,,
There is nothing about this place that is good and it's been that way for YEARS! For my life I can't understand what people see in this place. The food is terrible, it's the most smokey place I've ever been, it's extremely noisy, there's just nothing here. I know they have low limits on table games and maybe that's what many see in the place but I'd much rather go downtown to get the lower limits and not have to put up with all the noise, smoke, and weirdos. Yes, that's right...there are more weirdos here than downtown! (at least there were when I was there).
The old slots of fun had a certain low-roller appeal of free popcorn, and real cheap and almost inedible food. Some of the oldest slot machines around, that never seemed to pay out, and a guy handing out coupons for 2 for 1 promos that you would never use (if you really wanted 2 of those awful hotdogs, you were in a minority). But it was small, always busy, and if you wanted a place that you could quickly duck into for a game or two, this was the place. But now, it is branded with the Circus Circus name (it was already owned by Circus Circus for many years) it seems to have lost any appeal it may have had. Now it is an annex to Circus Circus, which isn't a good thing, and probably not long for this world.
