Got the inexpensive room rate in conjunction with a slot tournament. The rooms were as good as the strip hotel casinos. The slots were good and hit regularily.

The people were very nice and having many different eateries was nice. Very comparable to the Southpoint as an off main strip place to stay and play.

Aside from the recently imposed $5 a night "resort fee" added on to the rates, the Orleans is a good vaue with large clean rooms and a fantastic buffet.

We have visited this casino just to gamble many times but on our last visit to LV we stayed here. We have read many reviews all rating this casino very highly. We were not disapointed. It is first rate in almost all categories. The rooms were great, the specials were in fact special and everything was most reasonable leaving money available for a little gambling. We will make this our first choice for our next visit.

Orleans sent out a great email promo and we took advantage of it in Dec. 06. We had never played or stayed here and were very happy with our choice.



Everything you need is here, lots of great dining options, low table limits and a great variety of VP and slots at all levels.



Cocktail service was always around and the sports book was great. We loved our stay here and will do so again!

We really enjoy the Orleans' experience from the rooms, restaurants, entertainment and gambling. Weekday rooms are a bargain compared to comparable properties located on or off Strip. Rooms are larger than average, same with the bathrooms. The pool area is nicer than other locals properties though inferior to the those at the mega properties. Spa services are fairly priced. Entertainment options abound including 2 lounges, a movie complex, bowling alley, and showroom.



The video poker inventory has been greatly enhanced by the addition of 20 machines offering FPVP at the 25c and 50c levels. Comps or cashback are earned at the of 0.30% and Boyd seems to be sending more marketing offers since assuming control.



One concern is the future of the free shuttle to the Barbary Coast which has been sold to Harrahs.
