Binions has a great hamburger in the coffee shop. You sit right in the middle of the action. There are changes on the property, but still has some of the old Vegas feel. Where else can you get a picture made with a million dollars!
Stayed at the 4 queens in October so I tried to give Binions some business. But nothing looked inviting compared to the other downtown casinos. The best deal was the picture with the million dollars. They did have a free spin at the entrance with some coupons.
Binions is really being diminished. The pool was available on my last visit. As been stated there are no rooms as the hotel has been closed for a while. But if you stayed at the 4 Queens the pool was available. For downtown the VP is poor in selection and paytables.
No longer the Horseshoe, Binions has been going down hill for many years now and the freefall continues. the hotel has been closed for years, the casino has some average table games, poor selection of video poker, and a poker room that never seems very busy. They do have some some very good tourneys with low buy ins good strctures and variety of games, they always did this well.
