The Bellagio is indeed Beautiful. From the Fountains to the artwork inside, the place is top notch. I would never gamble here, because quite frankly it's outta my league.
Bellagio has probably the best show on the Vegas Strip, Cirque Du Soleil "O". It was by far the best show I've ever seen. Tickets aren't cheap for it, but well worth the price if you only do Vegas once in a while or for a special occasion.
Bellagio is one of those place us "frugal" Vegas visitors don't gamble in, but we just "check out" and enjoy the fountain show and scenery. Then sometimes, we splurge for a show for our wedding anniversary :)
I've been to Vegas at least 50 times. Stayed at The Wynn, The Venetian, The Palazzo, The Mirage, MGM Grand, Paris, The Rio and Bellagio. The Bellagio is the best with Palazzo, Wynn and Venetian all a close second. I have been going to the Bellagio since it opened in the late 90's. The have some of the best blackjack rules on the double deck game. (double deck is the only blackjack game to play). I like the atmosphere is very much. Everything is top notch, the service, the rooms, the restaurants and the pools.
Hope this will help someone in deciding on places to stay. Steve Wynn built the 2 best resorts out there, the Bellagio and the Wynn.
Let me say, I was at the Bellagio last summer. I had the time of my life. I got married and decided to go with my new wife to the casino. I happened to have won my first jackpot. $1500.00 on just a 30 cent bet. I remember how nice the hostesses were to my wife and me. I will never forget my experience at this casino. Even the food and restaurants were spectacular. I am from the east coast. This casino is night and day compared to the casinos in the PA NJ DE area. Everything about it was totally awesome. I will definitely be coming back.
This is a beautiful casino and well worth visiting. The rooms are very nice but I think that you get more value by staying at one of their sister properties, i.e TI.
My room did not overlook the fountain show if it did perhaps I might feel differently as the fountain show is a must see. The atrium is also worth going through.
The casino has decent video poker for a strip casino and the tables seem to give you better odds than other strip casinos.
