Really received excellent drink service this time. Also also enjoyed their great buffet on a friday. King crab legs, rack of lamb etc. I enjoy their displays in the Conservatory beautiful and different each season. Very low smoke level in casino. VP tables are not good for my bankroll.
First of all great buffet on the weekends! Totally awesome for my taste. Beef Wellington and rack of lamb! Give me a break;'heaven on a fork'. I have always found the drink service missing in action I am refering to the casino floor not the buffet. On the other hand my sessions are not that long. I have not been able to find their reel nickel slots as in the pass nor the $1 JOB video poker. They used to have these games. The place is beautiful and pleasant.
I have stayed at a dozen different hotels in Vegas and this is the best so far. I'd like to go on record and say that I am very AGAINST Resort Fees, but knowing ahead of time that the $25 would be added daily to the bill, It was still about $150+ per day total.
The pool is one of the nicest and I ate one of the best sandwiches of my life poolside (prosciutto). I used the $20 trick to get a double upgrade to strip view and a larger newer room. Marble everywhere, jacuzzi tub, spacious glass showers, auto drapes controlled from bedside or door was a nice touch. The view was unbelievable, and I saw 5 fountain shows without even trying.
Buffet is definitely in the top 5(USA Today rates it #1) Tables actually had $10 blackjack during the day which I do not see in many less expensive strip hotels. There are penny & nickle slots but many more dollar & $5 ones of course.
O plays there and is my fave show, but I did not catch it this times as I saw it 3 times in the past. (p.s.) La Reve was almost as great as O)
Check-in is the best by far as there were about 12 people at the desk, no waiting!
This is something everyone should do once. I realize you can stay at ballys for $65...but this place is worth the extra 100 bones a day if you can cut it.
It's a fancy place. But I would never play table games here. Seriously, a $50 table using a continuous shuffle machine. The video poker payoffs are similar to any MGM property, lousy. However, I do well here on slots (which I rarely play).

This is our only “must visit each trip” casino due to the Conservatory and Botanical Gardens display and the fountains.
The Botanical Gardens displays change with the seasons and from year to year. We caught the Spring Celebration on our last trip which featured a Dutch windmill, a carousel, swans and oh so much more.
The lobby area is also tastefully decorated in seasonal flowers and there is a massive glass sculpture hanging from the ceiling by Dale Chihuly titled Fiori di Como. We also stopped by the adjacent Chihuly shop where his art work is for sale.
The fine art gallery is also well worth a visit with the current display being Claude Monet: Impressions of Light which runs into early 2013. There is a discount for seniors, children, the military and Nevada residents.
Should the timing (late afternoon and evening) allow, our last stop is the fountains for the Dancing Waters show.
