Used to be a fairly fun place to go for a few hours. You could go there, take a few bucks, and maybe even win a little bit....or at least play for a while and have some fun. Now you burn your money up in no time and leave feeling totally ripped off. They tightened the slots up to an intolerable level. There is no question about it. It's so noticeable that it's nonsensical. The slots barely hit. The power up slots are rigged to pay out little. You never see big winners anymore when your sitting there. Should be illegal what they've done. I guess that's what you get when the fox is in charge of the hen house. Who decided that the tribe regulating the tribe owned casino was a good idea? Can anyone say "conflict of interest". As far as I'm concerned they are thieves.
The food is overpriced and the buffet food is barely passable. The employees are generally rude. I don't care if they have someone pushing a cart full of money escorted by security coming through. You don't shove me out of the way. I am the customer. You go around me. The bathrooms are usually filthy. The Players Club line is usually long and slow. They need more help. Getting a drink from the bar is an exercise in time management. You could die of thirst waiting. I'll never go back there. I'll spend my hard earned money elsewhere...where I'm appreciated as a customer and where they actually play a fair game and even pay once in awhile. I'd advise others to do the same. You'll be richer for it.

Went up on New Years Eve day, arrived about 1:30 p.m. left around 8:00 p.m. spent more than I planned on because I would have been on my way home in 30 minutes of arriving
after driving 75 miles to get there! I should have known from past experience this would be the case, my father and I would make the trip about once a week and sometimes more only to be ripped off within 30 minutes or less. Used to be a fun place to go...but not anymore! My father will not go to the Soaring Eagle anymore and I will be going one more time to spend all my comps and any free money (promo dollars). The next time I get the urge to gamble I will be heading to a different casino. The Soaring Eagle gives you nothing all they do is take, take, take! The drink prices are outrageous, the food is over priced in the buffet, many of the employees are rude (probably under paid and over worked). Tips are bad I'm sure because if people are losing their not tipping. If you go to their website you can check out the winners and you will see there are very few, I used to see as many in an afternoon or an evening as you see for the entire month and not only that you see the same person winning two to six times in the same month and I'm sure these multiple winners are in no way ahead of the game, they are just spending a boat load of money plus giving back all their winnings to hit that many times. Soaring Eagle you are GREEDY GREEDY GREEDY and I'm guessing it will be your undoing!
