Greektown Casino's Poker Room has it all wrong. Their customer service reps make you feel like you are an interruption to their time, consistently showing a lack of interest in your being there. They also add an extra step between paying for chips and receiving them that no other casino in MI has-why? Who knows, but it isn't to make you feel like they want your business. Oh, and if you need to use the bathroom, better hope noone else does cuz 1 stall & 1 urinal for a poker room full of guys is all they have. And if you arrive any less than 15 minutes prior to a tournament, they'd rather turn you away than take your money and let you play. Add to these things that you have to get your parking validated or pay up, the terrible food in the poker room and at the casino deli, and the utter refusals to provide inflrmation on tournament blind levels and you have an all around terrible experience. Don't waste your time here to play poker, and don't plan on getting decent food or friendly service.

I am from Detroit and was coming to town for a family vacation, I booked with greektown for their experience specificity to show my wife from out of town a good time. We spent over $300 for a room. The room did not have a working thermostat that we tried to call the front desk about FIVE TIMES, and they never answered (even when I tried calling from my cell phone and not my $300+ room) at check out I expressed my disappointment to Joseph who seemed ill equipped to deal with any complaint since he didn't even ask how my stay was. After I told him about room 2917 having a broken air conditioner on the 29th floor when it was 85 degrees and humid at night with NO ANSWER at the desk he gave me a card For Natalie the supervisor and said to call her, who has not returned my phone call STILL. I would NEVER RECOMMEND greektown casino EVER... An issue like the room temperature I can understand but with no concern/follow up or customer service solution after spending OVER $300 for ONE NIGHT... I find it completely unacceptable.

I have gone to greektown for about 5 yrs now and really like the casino, people and over all service!! I then started going to MGM Detroit back in may and have gone there more then greektown the lasts 5 months but now I know why I like greektown better then MGM. I have hit a few nice jack pots at MGM but the people including staff are totally rude, There is always people play the slots I like and it seems like its always the same people for hours on end playing, Not to mention they play 2 slots at once. Its frustrating as hell so now I will be going to back to greek town!!

Every time I have gone here I have left with more then I took ... $1100.00 twice, $750.00,$550.00 and the other times between $75.00-$160.00 up ... good luck
