Wouldn't go back. Went there when first opened in our motor home and was treated terrible because they didn't have any pull thru parking for rv. Very snotty and threatened us with ticket in rv window (we had parked where security took us and told us to park. ). Smart mouth in casino told us we should have unloaded our vehicle and backed into a parking spot since we were in large camper with car on behind. Right we are going to unload our car to gamble for an hour. Well fools that we are we decided to go back oct 18 and it was 47 degrees out n we travel everywhere with our dog. Well they hate dogs n do not allow on property. Very rude about it supposedly they are in law suit over a dog in a car and they broke window to rescue. The young man then proceeds to tell me my could get over heated and die in car. (At 47 degrees out) so now he has been rude and insinuated that I'm a cruel pet owner and an idiot who would endanger my pet. my vet would disagree with as my dogs are my kids with fur.
He said this was a warning but we had to leave property. On top of all that we had locked our keys in the car and he made it quite clear that he could do nothing and they had no hangers n we had to leave. My husband went across street n got large stick to put thru open window to pop lock we left. Since them I have checked with numerous casinos throughout the state n they don't allow pets in casino but they are welcome on property in your camper or car. We didn't miss much as this casino doesn't pay, workers seem stressed and the filthy glasses n ashtrays are everywhere. If your thirsty you best go get your own drinks cause very seldom does anyone come offering beverages. We run with big group of rv people n we go from casino to casino in the summer but this one is no longer listed on route. Not worth the stop.
Played a penny slot for 4.60 a pull max bet, two hours later I won 100 free spins, I won one dollar and eighteen cents after. One hundred free spins, enough said
I have been to every casino in Michigan, and I thought fire keepers was bad. I have never seen such horrible slot, table pays, and players club in my life.
You can see the suits walking around glad handling the customers who drop a lot of money. I have been there often on since they opened, and I have never had anyone come up to me and ask me how I was doing. Of course I would've given them a piece of my mind, so it's probably a good thing.
I'm only 30 minutes away, but I will drive to an a half hours to Traverse City, or blue-chip.
Never going back, gun lake......... Just wait until another casino opens up that's closer, you will lose 70% of your customers.
This is by far the worst casino I have played at. I only play blackjack and fed up playing the silly mind games the pit boss plays. I don't use a players card or want one but they persist on asking me 2-3 times while playing. I was playing one on one with the dealer and was betting the max $1000 per hand. I had been running hot and pressing hard. I had four yes four pit bosses all staring me down, and typing away on there computers. I found this behavior very disgusting and petty. When I cashed out they wanted my ID. I said no pay me out. It took about a half hour to get paid out and they kept insisting on ID, until they could not provide anywhere where it's says it's needed. Was I being stubborn? Yes. But I was extremely ticked off at the shoddy and intimidating behavior of the pit.
I'll never set foot in that place again, its a small time waste of space that doesn't like paying out.
