This place is off I-95 between Baltimore and Wilmington. If you're in the area, Delaware Park is only 30 minutes away and a much better deal.
The buffet is crummy like all Hollywood Casinos. I've been here twice, and even when we were here on New Year's Eve there was no excitement. The second time I got a new comp card since I didn't have mine (it was an unexpected stop). She had to put all my info in again since it didn't take the first time.
And the slots here just don't seem to payout. This may because Maryland slot parlors have lower payouts (feel the same way about Ocean Downs too). But not someplace you should seek out.
This is a brand new casino with 1,500 machines. It's a pretty small place, you can stand anywhere, rotate 360, and see all 4 walls.
It's slots only as per Maryland statute (for now) and they're the "slots in a box" style for the most part. There are several banks of progressive slots, and a video poker area. They have 4-6 of the electronic blackjack and 3 card poker machines, and a bank of probably 10 of the electronic roulette machines.
Here's the hidden gem involving the electronic roulette machines:
1) Euro/French Style, which means only a single zero
2) The single number pays out THIRTY SIX to one.
If you're playing single numbers a lot, your edge based on the single zero and the increased payout (most pay 34 or 35 to 1) give the house a much lower edge on this game!
