My husband and I have been in the wild rose in iowa. We love it. We go as often as we can. It is our getaway from all the hustle and bustle. Everyone is just so nice. Now we are bringing my mother in law this trip. We are going October 7th 2012 and we can't wait. Keep up the wonderful job. You are all doing a great job!
Nice newer hotel. We were pleasantly surprised that this gem of a casino is in Clinton, Iowa. Unlike the last reviewer, I did not notice smoke. My husband smoked in the casino and it did not bother me - it's all part of a drinking, gambling experience though. Anyhow, we are going again soon.
The Wild Rose replaced the Mississippi Belle in Clinton, however, it is on the south-west side of town, not on the river. It's not a real large casino, but it does have many different slots. The buffet is quite good and there is a buy one, get one free for breakfast and lunch special for seniors on Mondays. Also, on Mondays, for seniors, there is $3.00 off dinner. Unfortunately, it has not been very lucky for me, but I have watched people win. It is nice and clean. They do not have a non-smoking section, but the ventilation is pretty good.
