I’m a fairly new gambler and after a trip from Vegas, I got the bug and decided to try making Rivers my home casino.
After almost 10 trips, I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s just not meant for gamblers. I’m a slots player and I understand the machines are designed to make you lose, but Rivers’ machines make you lose hard and FAST. Forget making any money on denoms less than $1 and after thousands of dollars, I can count on one hand where I’ve had line hits that were more than $100. The atmosphere is also pretty depressing during the day while at night, it’s ridiculously overcrowded, hot and not conducive to serious gambling. Food, drink and staff are OK, so I might go back to Rivers for casual affairs, but I’m ready to go somewhere else where my money will at least last longer.
