Club Fortune is located just southeast of downtown Henderson on Racetrack Road. It'd owned by Nevada Gold.

The casino specializes in the locals market and caters to nearby players by offering great comps and reasonable table games. This includes $1 craps and $3 blackjack. There is also a five-table poker room which is the only poker room south of Sam’s Town in the Boulder Highway area. There are 7 table games at Club Fortune. Craps is offered with a $1 minimum bet and 3-4-5 times odds. The Field bet pays triple. Pai Gow Poker is spread with $5 to $100 limits. Three Card Poker is $5 to $50.

The Club Café and Baskets are the only dining options at Club Fortune. It opens at 6 AM daily and closes at 6 PM on weeknights and midnight on weekends. Club Café does not permit to-go orders. All meals must be consumed on the premises.

The typical breakfast menu features a $1.99 weekday special with two eggs, hash browns and either bacon or sausage. On weekends, the special is a $2.99 ham and eggs deal. These breakfast specials end at 11 AM.

The lunch menu consists of sandwiches, burgers, salads, soups and appetizers. The dinner menu adds several entrees like pasta, steak, seafood and chicken. Dinner prices start at just $9.99.

The Club Café has a daily special that starts at 2 PM. Each day offers something different. Like other casinos Club Fortune is loaded with daily promos and continually changing specials.

If you have a Players Card, Baskets offers a Double Cheeseburger and Fries and a Fried Chicken sandwich for $2.99.

"Prize Pop" is offered on Friday nights - A winner is drawn every half hour from 5-10 PM.
"Carnival Cashout" is offered on Saturday nights and is basically the same as "Prize Pop."

I visited Club Fortune a few times. It's not fancy but the people are friendly and there's value to be found in it's Player's Club, restaurants and continuous specials and promo's. It's also the only casino in the area that offers Pai Gow.

I have had this casino on my list for three trips now and finally I decided to give it a go. It was easier to get to on the old HDX bus route, but the BHX will get there in 49 minutes. It is just a short walk away on Racetrack Road and Boulder.

I had blisters on my toes, but I wore my hard soled slip on shoes that left my toes away from any rubbing. It was a short walk with a bit of desert mountains in the distance.

They offer a 1-1 NL game where the buy-in is $20-$60 and the game is reported to be a low roller’s dream game with no maniacs who sometimes dominate low stakes games, and a mix of players. The game then breaks up for a tournament costing $30 with one add on of $10 in the first hour.

I got a late start and was there just in time to play the tournament. I was one of the first out. It would be a couple hours before I could play a cash game, and I was down on my VP bankroll and did not want to seed the machines there, so I decided to just head back and have some early dinner.

I liked the tournament and would have enjoyed the game. The folks were friendly and while conversation did seem to be mostly among regulars who play often with each other, I did not feel any hostility. Players were happy to explain the bonus offerings to me. The brush was very helpful and friendly. I’ll go back another time.

The most unique bonus offering was that high hand awards were paid in the tournaments as well as in the cash games. This is something I have not seen in any other casino.

We visited this small, out-of-the way casino for the sole purpose of taking in a lounge act. I checked the VPFree2 data base beforehand and was surprised to find that several full pay video poker games are offered plus the players club returns an additional 0.1%. The typical win up to $1000 in free play for signing up for a card. I think we each won $5 which we played on the FPDW machines and lost. The lounge turned out to be very small and the music being played was way too loud so we our stay was short.
