I called guest services as my husband and I were planning a night out and trying to decide where to go. We had a 1/2 price hotel stay and free buffet of prime rib for two plus $5 free play at one casino so we called baraga to see what kind of promotions they could offer us. They said none because we hadn't been there in a while. Really? You would think they would offer us a deal to get us to come there instead. No? At least match the other casino. Very disappointed. Poor marketing, poor guest services. I guess they don't want us to come spend our money there this weekend! Their loss.

I was very disappointed in this casino.  The first place I had to go was the lobby of the hotel to check into the RV park.  It was dingy and not very clean.  Carpet looked like it had never been cleaned.  They use some kind of sickly sweet air freshener that actually make me kinda ill to my stomach. This was one tired looking hotel lobby.

Restaurant is not owned by the casino and was not bad.  Average food and average selection, kinda expensive.

Now we get to the casino part.  Tight machines is putting it mildly.  I played 2 days and never, never got a bonus or any winning above 6.00.  Needless to say, I did not play long.  Fair variety of machines but that means nothing if you do not win enough to keep playing.

The RV park if you want to call it that, is not bad.  Clean sites and pretty level.  Good for a night or two. There are 12 of them and all are back ins.  Do not stay on any day they are having a band.  Very noisy and you can hear it in the RV area during the whole concert and for 1 hr after as cars leave.

Won't go back unless we need to use RV area.

The tightest slots out of any of the many many casinos i've been in. Never hear any cheering or slot sounds of wins EVER. Very dead machines. Small little hole in the wall bar provides decent drinks and food. Nothing special but comfortable. Strong smoke smell compared to other casinos. Players card is a joke, and i've never used the hotel but from what i've heard it's also nothing special at all. Red Roof Inn style.

Stayed there last fall.Asked for a handicap room when making reservations. When we arrived they gave us a room upstairs- no elevator. The room had a odor, wife wound up sleeping in the lobby. No offer for a refund. Manager there offered to comp a night if we returned - forget it. Worst casino we have ever stayed at.

I offered to return & critique their operations (no charge) as I have a background in marketing, they declined. No wonder they have such poor reviews - they really don't care if you enjoy your stay or not. Never going back.
