we have been going to table mountain for many years. we use to love the place. the new machines cost more to play, they are getting rid of all the old slots. you can;t win there anymore. we use to be able to play forty dollars for a few hours, we didn't win much, but were able to have a good time. now,you better be ready to leave in about an hour. or even less time then that. we looked around one day and saw that no one was doing very well. there is really no such thing as a jackpot any more. you can't usually afford to play three dollars at a time and even if you could, the odds are against your winning a jackpot. we really believe the machines are so tight in order to pay off all those mega win bonuses they pay. that is when we stopped winning anything there. we really just wanted a place to go for a few hours and we love to play the slots, but if you are in and out in fifteen minutes, well. we will have to find a new hobby

Table Mountain used to be a good casino. Now it's just a total ripoff. When i started going there in the mid 1990s I would win anywhere from four to seven taxable jackpots a year (one year i won over $17,000 in total taxables). Now I'm down to about one taxable a year there--and I'm going to lose my Platinum card status because I just can't justify losing tons of money to win just one taxable a year. Makes no sense. And the machines seem rigged to reward the minimum bet players when it comes to getting bonus rounds. I played tonight (Jan. 2, 2011) for hours and wound up losing at times $100 to $200 at one machine without getting a single bonus round whereas the person next to me played just the minimum 50 cents bet and wound up winning the minor jackpot (that starts at $100) twice. It's just terrible--I hope the new Gov. Jerry Brown forces the Indian casinos to pay out more in winnings to the players and especially reward the larger bettors since they're taking the greatest risks. No matter what happens, I do know that God will get final justice for those of us who honestly bet good money only to see us get taken by tribal people who have no soul.

I've been to this casino a few times already. The second time I went, the VIP host comped me a free meal and was extremely helpful. I only play in the high limit room, which is only $25 minimum bet, so it's perfect for me. The rules for blackjack are great. Stand on all 17's, Bj pays 3/2, there is no surrendering though, which is pretty common in Indian Casinos. The pit boss was super nice and helpful. They really make you feel welcomed here. The comped meal was really good. We ate at the cafe, not the buffet, so the turkey club was absolutely amazing. Very generous portions of fries also. There is no alcohol however, which for me is perfectly fine. But I know some people like to enjoy a drink while playing, so something to keep in mind. The high limit room is the only area however where you can play without much crowding or annoying patrons. There are 4 other pits that include more blackjack, and a few carnival games, but they tend to be extremely packed most of the time; especially during the weekends. But if you can have a decent bankroll, the high limit room is perfect. I love playing here. I highly recommend the trip if you love table games.
