A Milwaukee woman was recently charged with embezzling $1 million from her employer to feed a slot machine habit at Potawotomi.
The criminal complaint, citing Potawotomi records, said over a period of several years, she ran $3,914,184 through the slot machines and had a net loss of $483,327.
According to my math, based on those numbers, Potawotomi's slots paid back 87.7 % cent.
Compare that to the actual paybacks of non-Indian casinos as reported in CASINO PLAYER magazine - 93 to 95% for $1 slots.

That's actually not money in, money out, that is money in PLUS all the little wins put back. The machines at the bars I go to are around 63-64% dollar in, dollar out, but in the mid to upper 80's payback when you throw in the winning that are put back. So they are actually paying in the 64 percentile.
