I am an avid gambler. I have gambled at most of the Western Washington facilities and frequent the Tacoma/Fife/ Auburn locations. I have been in the top 2 or 3 player tiers here for several years. A nice perk is that it doesn't take much gambling to earn a nights stay at one of their 2 Ocean Shores properties. But the Casino is definitely the nicer facility. It was enlarged and updated in 2018. The additions are beautiful, use the newest bathrooms at the back of the casino. They have all the perks. The old one by the restaurant is so dated. The buffet is still learning their groove. I did witness a staff member being less than accommodating to 2 older gentlemen when they requested a table near buffet. He basically told them too bad instead of cleaning table off. The manager was roaming around and i told her what i saw. It was addressed immediately with staff and the men were offered the desired seats and given an apology. The fish and chips or hot wings in the bar and Emily's are awesome. The deli is typical fry/grill foods. Their fries are nice and crispy. The menu is small. Don't expect gourmet there, but we do enjoy for lunch occasionally. Staff there do seem a little simple, be patient with them.
The staff in the bar have mostly been very friendly. It is true that you can get a box for your uneaten meal, but not make a to-go order. Weird. There are less tweakers here than EQC. Though EQC is moving to a points based card soon and hopefully that changes. It is very light and clean at Quinault. I used to win a jackpot almost every time I played here (lots if work). But not much gaming fun with the new construction. Recently won 2 jackpots on same day in new high limit area. So hopefully that's a good sign. The casino hosts are wonderful! Shout outs to Tim, Pierre and Russell. They make a point of getting out and greeting guests and getting to know people. They have upgraded my room without asking several times. They offer several special events for their upper tier players as well as generous room comps and free play. There seems to always be some kind if drawing. I don't live close, so i can usually only same day qualify. The biggest fail currently for me is the new "non-smoking" area. It is not seperated from smoking machines at all right now. I hope that changes. I suffer through and have terrible allergies to smoke. The rooms are nice. The suites with big showers are really nice. Ocean view makes it relaxing. I like looking more than feeling that water. I still live coming here. My husband loves seeing the roaming urban deer im Ocean Shores and we like seeing Seabrook grow. Interesting place several miles past the turn off for casino.
