It had a very small casino only nickel vp. It had many names Greek Isles, Debbie Reynolds among others. Another part of Las Vegas history gone.

We visited in April 2014 primarily redeem a pair of ACG coupons good for free drinks. In the past there was always a few people at the bar, primarily regulars, but we were the only customers during our 30 minute visit. I requested a glass of merlot from the female bartender as I tendered one coupon, but she said wine was too expensive. I mentioned that we had used many similar coupons over the past few years without a problem. She relented and pulled a couple of plastic glasses that were pre-filled with wine that had stretch wrap over the top. The wine was terrible so we walked out without requesting a second glass.

In addition to the bar being empty, the casino itself probably did not have more 3 customers and we were told by the bartender that the cafe/restaurant was no longer open.

This hotel is dated and out of the main stream, but might be a frugal alternative for those attending a convention in the Las Vegas Convention Center. It is located within walking distance of the Las Vegas Hotel’s monorail stop, but most people seem to arrive by car or taxi. There is a large parking lot for the convention center immediately across the street and an abandoned apartment complex a little to the west. If you must walk, I would suggest staying on the same side of the road as Piero’s and the Marriott. There is a sign advising of a $5 valet parking charge, but we found no valet and parked in the hotel’s parking lot for free
A small, coffee shop type restaurant is operated, but I never saw more than a hand full people dining there on our visits.

The casino is very small with no table games. Per the VPFree2 data base, the only playable VP is 9/6 JOB at the 5 cents level.

There are two showrooms, Star Theater and Wolf Theater. These are rented on a 4-wall basis by performers. Since the casino is off the beaten path, few acts have attracted enough patrons to succeed. The only show with any sort of staying power has been Shades of Sinatra. We have seen a couple of shows in each of the two venues and prefer the larger Wolf Theater. The intimate Star Theater has comfortable movie theater type seating, but the sound system and acoustics are poor. The larger Wolf Theater is Spartan and set up with tables and movable chairs, but has a larger stage and better sound system.
