no pal. You need to grow the hell up and face reality. I totally agree with the other reviews. Other casinos are alot different than Parx, At least they give you opportunities to win and to have a good time. But every single time i go to Parx, I lose due to the extremely tight machines. Also, it takes forever to be served a drink. When you order one, they never come back with your order. Also, while the bands they book are half decent, the DJ really sucks with the same crappy schtik week after week.

Sorry newbee, the review was very accurate and you obviously don't have a clue. The machines at Parx are absolutely terrible with their pitiful paybacks. The problem is not with the players but with the way the State setup the casinos. The greedy state grabs 55% of all profits leaving the casinos no choice but to offer the lowest paybacks allowable by law. Parx also has no direct competition. They don't care if you like the place or not. With the location they are in, they will always be sure to get enough suckers to throw their money away. Gamblers who are used to going to AC (which offers a higher, more fair payback percentage) know that they will win some, lose some and break even some. Then they go to Parx and lose, lose then lose more. Most of them probably think it is just a streak of bad luck. It takes quite some time before they realize what is really going on. Yes, gambling is a problem for some people and particularly hits the lower class hard, which is the main demographic in that area. So, shame on the greedy state and shame on the people at Parx for totally trashing another community.

hi would it be fair to complain after putting in $500 each time and not win anything....problem gamblers is the reason casinos win so much..but they should also let the people win sometimes...slots are very tight and make it impossible to win...have u seen the smoking atmosphere no proper ventilation...if a non smoker like me goes and returns home with clothes stinking like hell..is that a good atmosphere?...either u are not seeing the reality or u seem to be one of them to nullify the negative remarks...anyways good luck to u for whatever u doing.

I agree with you. Why keep going to a casino that you feel is ripping you off, unless you have a gambling problem. I live near empire city casino. When they first opened i could easily walk home with seven and up but then they tightened up. I stopped going period. I go to mohegan and walk home with money. I played at parx walked home with money. I play at monticello always walk home with money. If you continue to play at the same casino thinking its going to change for you, you got a problem especially when you have so many casinos so close to each other. Find one that works for you or stop playing.
