I just wanted to update this place since it was my first time there in years and now that they have modernized building a little; changed name to Blackhawk Casino, and are updating their offers. First, they DO have table games, including Blackjack ($5 and $25 tables) and others like mini-baccarat. I'm not really a slot player but my buddy is and when we go gamble; he plays slots; I play tables. There is a high limit slot room, fairly small, that is separated from main floor. Seemed to be a wide variety of games but not a huge casino. Promo for first time player's members is $20 free play. True free play; no match required. You enter your pin; it's downloaded to machine from your card and you play it through the machine. After running $20 through, whatever is left is yours.

Table games, though not many this past Friday night were busy at $5 tables; basically full but you could get a place if wanted. They had a $25 table that was a little different in that they are all shoe games, but they would not allow mid shoe entry on the $25 table. I asked pit bosses about that and they said it was an accommodation for the players who were playing. You could request it; anyone could request it and they would not allow mid-shoe entry on the $25 limit shoes. But $5 no problem and since I don't usually bet more than $100 at top bet, this was fine. But still thought it was different. Good games; good rules. 6 deck shoes but fairly liberal rules. DAS; double any two; resplit as many hands as you like. Only one card to split aces but think you can resplit aces. I saw someone go down in flames who had 6 hands pending on split 6's, he drew so many sixes.....LOL But they are friendly; didn't think they gave anyone too much trouble. Can't say that I think the general players are that experienced but we had a good time. Winning session for me.

Small concession service for fast food on once side of casino. A small sports bar/restaurant on other end. Serve decent food; variety on menu and it's a FULL SERVICE BAR. Liquor, beer, etc. Nice frosted glasses if you stay there to drink; typical video poker around bar area but CHECK pay tables; they vary and I didn't think they were that great. But if you want to bring your drink into the casino area, they transfer your drink into a styrofoam cup. We thought everyone we came into contact with was friendly. Not any where near as upscale or crowded as Grand Casino down the road on I-40 toward Oklahoma City, but it's a nice local casino.
