Let's do this honestly and i will be able to write a great review!! First off .. every review i have seen here on every casino is the same ol same ol! every person that writes a review only writes negative comments because of their experiences!! i will write an honest to god review! starting from the top!

THE SLOTS! the machines here are up to par with many casinos, they have a variety of slots that are familiar with most of the casinos out there .. so it would be easy to play your favorite machine! sometimes they have up to 3-4 of the same slot machine! so you would be comfortable just jumping in!! the payouts are fair! provided you play at the right time!! i'm one of those people who don't like crowded casinos having to fight for a spot to play a machine is not my idea of fun!

if you would like to win at playing slots there are some things to consider such as when to play them! i find that winning the most out of these machines would be the time of day ... i find that playing on the low peak times such as between 2am- 11am is the best time because there is no one there and you can quickly cycle thru and find the best machines!

the payouts are the same as any casino! if you ever wonder why you don't get paid out so much it's probably because you went to that casino on peak hours when there have been 10 people playing that machine at 7pm on a saturday and the jackpot has already been paid out!

i find that no matter what machine you're playing it's always best to play a machine that has been sitting dormant for hours! that is just with my experiences!

TABLE GAMES as with most casinos! you would have to just sign up for the players club because it is worth the coupons and free comps they give you... as with any casino they give you paybacks of what you spent in rooms, food and entertainment!

i have been a very satisfied customer several months ago i walked in and and played the blackjack table games! I believe i played from 11am all the way till close... i was very tired at the end, but i managed to win what i lost of around $1,100 but it was fun... the points i earned quickly paid me a free meal and and an extra night free .. and unknown to me i also earned comp dollars that i was allowed to spend on food, lodging and even their boat and cabin rentals! since this casino is located on a lake they have these great amenities!!!

the rooms are hit or miss! i say this because every room has been updated with a fridge, microwave, and a flat-screen i believe 37" tv.. the rooms particularly my favorite room #331 has the updated colors of light beige but no one bothered to clean up the mess on the walls.. there are some handprints on the walls, but i think it makes it more unique! it has a walkout balcony so you can see the pool and the water park right outside your room! the moving water is rather loud .. so you might want to shut the door before bed time!

speaking of water park.. for the kids they do have a waterslide and whirlpool that is open everyday from 11am to 8pm.. the kids will love it .. you can rent some water toys like an alligator for $5... and they do have a lifeguard on duty!

The staff here are friendly ... they make you feel right at home... from the table game dealers to the pit bosses and your vip concierge! they learn your name quick and offer you comps if you meet that certain criteria!!

Every casino that i go to .. i make sure to spend the most i can out of my dollar.. at times i spend thousands of dollars!! but the returns are great... here at spirit lake they have daily promotions and monthly prize giveaways where you can win thousands of dollars!! usually they give out an average of around 20-30k of prizes each month..
if you are a high roller, like i am, they automatically enter you into drawings and remind you to come to the casino at that time so you can have your chance to win!!

This Casino has a great gaming atmosphere .. its cleanliness is up to par ... the lighting is wonderful on the gaming floor!

i have spent thousands of dollars here, but i have also donated it back as soon as i won it... but for goodness sake it was fun.. the last time i was here i won and lost and spent over 7k and stayed a total of 9 days! because i was having soo much fun!! if i was to give this place a rating from 1-10 it is a solid 9!!!

to sum everything up!! the food is great!! some days are better than the next .. wednesday is sea food night and you can go king crab crazy for $16 all you can eat! if it's too crazy down there there is a well hidden restaurant on the 4th floor in the back of the casino that has a great vista(VIEW) of the whole devils lake! they have a fresh lobster tank that you can choose lobster from the sizes and they will cook it for you the avg price on the lobster goes from 30 all the way up to i believe 130 dollars!!

The casino is a dry casino so that being said .. you don't run into that problem of blowing all your money at once and can't use the excuse of "i was under the influence"!

before you leave and after you're done playing make sure to swipe your card at customer service and get up to $50 in bounce back .. (which is good for up to 2 weeks) so the next time you come they will give you 50 bucks in either slot machine or table games... you do have to earn points but earning points here is fast and easy... 500 pts i believe is 15 dollars. 1,200 pts is $35 and for 1,500 pts its $50 bounce back!!

and one last thing ... DO NOT STAY on the 4TH floor!! take my word for it!! i'm prettty sure there is a reason its called DEVILS LAKE!! it's not because it's dirty... let's just say i'm superstitious... and will never stay on the 4th floor ever again!!!
