Of the two casinos on the Canadian side in Niagara Falls, this one is much nicer, even though they are both owned and operated by the same company. It is loctaed in a shopping mall and it's a very modern facility with many of the latest slot machines, although I did see some older slots and video poker games (pick'em poker, Bally Game Makers, Bally Cinevision slots, etc.) The casino had the feel of a mini-Bellagio when I first walked in, although not quite as extravagant, but still a nice atmosphere. I signed up for a players club card at their other casino (Casino Niagara) and they didn't offer me any free play, or any other incentive for joining. If you have U.S. money you have to convert it to Canadian before playing and then convert it back to US when cashing out, so you lose a little money in each of those transactions. It was too much of a bother for me so I didn't play at all. There is also a charge of $5 to $10 (depending on the day) to park. I was staying at the Hilton which is connected to the casino/mall complex by a covered walkway. The daily fee to park there was $20 so I parked at the casino garage and was able to save some money. You only have to pay on the way out of the casino garage, so we kept the car there for three days and only had to pay $5, rather than $60. That was pretty good!
