It looks like the Atlantic Club will be closing soon, probably for good. Its too bad, it was worth the walk to go to both casinos on that end. The Atlantic Club and the Tropicana, now with just the trop there, they may have to try a little harder to get people over there.

Since I reviewed this place last year, they have really put some effort into it. They have put some money into renovating the casino floor (it could still use a little more updating). The dealers have gotten a little more friendly. And the food options have gotten a little better. It's slowly turning into a decent little low rollers place.

The atlantic club is a bit of a walk from center boardwalk, but it's worth it. The slots are new they have some decent and full pay video poker, but no poker room. It's small, but clean. The buffet and cafes are all pretty good. You can stop by the Tropicana next door on the trip.

This is our new favorite casino in AC. We return often for $5 blackjack during the week and early morning, and it's usually busy. Come back later to get a seat if packed. Locals know about the place. I believe the dealers are always hand shuffling the deck, and dealers remember you when they rotate back. Players card earns good room and food comps, and the front desk is very service-oriented and generous. Small place with plenty of slots on perimeter. Poker tourneys as well. Rooms are very nice.
Only caveat is the ground-level bar does not comp drinks, but you can watch sports on TV and play quarter video games.
