I like everything about Rampart Casino, what's not to like?
Linda and I have been going to Vegas for years. We have tried them all from the Strip (Venetian to Mandalay Bay) to off Strip (South Point) and the Rampart is the best by far!! We do not just look at the F&B or the Casino but the total environment. The Spa, Pool and Rooms are awesome!! The staff will do all they can to to fix any issue you may have short of a criminal misdemeanor. This level of service is hard to come by anywhere and thus we have found ourselves a home at the JW Marriott and the Rampart Casino!! If you need help navigating the resort of casino I highly recommend you give Ms. Gina Lombardi (yes that Lombardi family) a call via the casino host office.
This place is off-strip. Way off strip. And it isn't worth the drive.
The place skews old, very old. We actually waited in line at the buffet over twice as long as we did at Bacchanal at Caesars Palace. And the buffet was mediocre at best. Tables had low minimums but the few they had were full. Video poker tables weren't that great.
Great little casino. Very good buffet, Flamingo buffet quality at Sahara buffet prices. Upscale clientele, pleasant surroundings. Round design of casino makes it easier to find companions.
Received a VIP package on 2 occasions, but was told I couldn't use them because I had recently played. Neither of the packages stated that info in their package. So the moral I guess?. Don't play at the Rampart because if you do they won't back up their VIP packages.
