Booked a 4 night stay Sept 20-24; We have been to Las Vegas many times and have stayed at several different places. The Mirage may be the best bargain on the strip. Check-in on a busy Saturday was seamless. There is a dedicated check-in line for MLife players club members and the entire process took less than 5 minutes. We were given a 20th floor strip view room. The only downside was noise from the volcano show every 30 minutes until midnight. However, a room change request was handled quickly. The room was clean, quiet with a very comfortable bed. Housekeeping was superb. Food service was excellent at the Pantry, the Deli, and the Buffet, which was one of the best we have ever experienced. Every employee we encountered was pleasant & courteous; at no time did we feel less than valued guests. The front desk personnel are thorough and professional. Kiosk check-out was also easy & fast. All things considered, this was the best place we have ever stayed on the strip. Although this property is 25 years old, it is very well maintained and managed. Yes, other newer mega resorts may have 600 sq foot rooms along with outrageous food & drink prices, but the Mirage provides everything required for an excellent vacation experience for less expense.

Beautiful casino/hotel. Went to the lunch buffet, I thought it was very good. Like getting the wine or beer with the meal. Drink stations are interesting, changes the tip dynamic. You tip the bartender and then the bus person but they are not bringing you drinks, so the $1 or $2 tip per drink rule goes out the window. vp tables only decent at upper levels.

The center strip Mirage has a very friendly poker room with a lot of jackpots and promos going on, 1/2 NL and 3/6 LH run every day. Not much for good pay table video poker but they do have some quarter progressive games where the meter goes up quickly. On weekdays they have a double deck blackjack game for $25 min. And the buffet is excellent.

Never stayed here (but on my list) even with the Resort Fees...

Went and had dinner at Samba Steakhouse and had the Rodizo BBQ - It's all you can eat and it is delicious. I highly suggest having the bacon wrapped Turkey. The bacon is crisp and the turkey melts in your mouth.

Also saw The Beatles LOVE - was EXCELLENT!

Gaming atmosphere is awesome here, lots of people all having fun.

This is my favorite casino to gamble in. I usually win on the poker machines. No matter how many times I see the volcano erupt, it hasn't lost its fascination. The food is excellent, too.
