Atlantis casino and hotel in Reno is one of the top casinos in the city. The interior of the casino gives you the classic gaming feel Reno is known for, but with an under-water themed twist. The table games area is rather light in the daytime with windows facing outside, giving playing here a unique feel. The table minimum are not the lowest in Reno, and the rules are a little less liberal than some of its neighbors, however Atlantis still offers any game a gambler could look for!
I lived in reno for over 25 years. the casino here as some of the ones in las vegas cheat people. I am not talking about cheating at table games or slots. I am talking about drawings. they exclude the people that they donot want to win. as in advantage players. atlantis does it. so does the sands peppermill and the now bankrupted sienna. it is all perfectly legal. the next time you participate in a drawing try to get a hold of a copy of the rules. it will say the casino can exclude person or persons at their discretion. not a crime. they have done this to quite a few people that I know of. all perfectly legal. I once asked a few pro gamblers that I know how many casinos they think cheat at drawings. 70 percent was about the number I got. personally I think more. it is only when they single out a winner is it a crime. but as I always ask if their is 100 people in a drawing and they exclude 99 didn't they single out a winner. catch 22. they let the highrollers win because they will get the cash back from them. a pro will take the cash and walk.
Spent a couple of nights in one of their "Tower Rooms". Very nice rooms that were well kept and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. In addition to having people offering drinks, they had a lady going through the gaming area offering donuts. Had never seen that in a casino. A large variety of machines and table games. There were adding new machines during our stay. We ate at the buffet for breakfast twice and found the food good. The waiter at the buffet was a young man who was very friendly and did his job very well. We would stay here again.
