I've visited all the Tunica casinos and stayed at most of them. The Goldstrike is by far the best in Tunica. The staff is always pleasant and helpful. The food at the buffet is always delicious. The slots pay well. The rooms are excellent. And everyone acts like they appreciate you being there. To me, that is one of the primary qualities of a good casino. If only we could do away with smoking in the casinos but I understand that all would have to do it in order not to be at a disadvantage. When Atlantic City went smokeless, people still came and I think the same would happen in Tunica. Personally, my biggest turn off is when someone is so rude as to sit down beside me and immediately pull out a cigarette. However, they do have a smoke free area and I certainly appreciate that.
