Free room! They send out fliers with little blackout dates. This is a smoking allowed casino and being the non smoker in a room that's a smokers room, we were very surprised that it was a smoking room. We even said out loud if we have the right room. Casino does have a very nice non smoking section too. Fun place. Has all the new games plus found some that still kicked out coins.

Been gambling here for many years. Have seen a time years ago when the food used to be super. Now it is a joke! soooo bad. We dont eat unless we are totaly starving and its comped. Place used to be very clean, always saw someone cleaning machines, not any more!! Staff has always been good. Machines have been getting tighter every year. Its hardly any fun anymore. If you dont have $500 in your pocket to go with, u may as well stay home. Only go there because we like the size. Its small. Have cut WAY back on trips there, due to the tight machines. But absolutely love that they have kept some of the "REAL MACHINES" handling real coins is always a bigger thrill. You can tell this buy the amount of people that play them. Penny machines really suck and are not at all appealing.

Was here on a Sunday and never had a problem getting a beer. We ate at the buffet and loved it (the meatloaf rocked and I don't really care for meatloaf).

Stayed at the hotel and for the price couldn't ask for much more. Only problem I had was only one table open for blackjack so I had to wait and wait and then gave up until late at night when I was almost out of money. Lost but still really enjoyed myself.

We were able to play the slots, but were unable to get a poker game or use any of the tables. There were plenty of tables that were not open, but the ones going were packed (we spent about an hour trying). We gave up and tried the bar, but after spending over 20 minutes standing at the bar (packed, with only ONE bartender), we were unable to get served.

We gave up and went back to our room, disappointed. The service was absolutely awful, the buffet reminded me of "school lunch"...absolutely tasteless-the prime rib was tough and without flavor, and, of course, they ran out. When we complained (politely, I swear-I worked in restaurant/bar management for 20 years-I'll tolerate nearly anything) to management about the service, they shrugged us off and handed us a complaint form to fill out. We never received so much as an insincere apology for the terrible service we encountered.

The hotel and hotel staff were nice as could be...a very nice place to stay, but though the casino facilities are very nice, it's definitely not a place I would ever consider returning to. With so many other casinos in the area that actually HAVE treated us well (Jackpot Junction, Royal River, Dakota Sioux, Dakota Magic, Grand Casino Hinckley), there's no reason to bother with Prairie's Edge again for us.
