Sad...used to be the best place to stay and play. Since the remodeling it went down hill... Prices out of this world, service horrible... Used to win At least once in a while.. Not now.. Should win an award for the tightest slots in Michigan!
New ownership ruined what use to be a great get away. I was told today they raised drink prices because they were sick of free loaders sitting around drinking and not playing slots. They offer a lot of promotional dinners...but WARNING!! don't bother wasting your money. The casino is so tight, it is not worth it. Ever since they started the remodel...you can't win. It has turned into a money pit. I dare you to talk to the employees, they don't even want to be there. Also the new VIP staff is just as helpful as talking to a brick wall. I remember times I brought gifts in for VIP staff for holidays. NEVER AGAIN! Little River use to be fun, but it seems times (owners) changed and it sucks. I will never return and I recommend you don't either. There ARE plenty of other casinos in Michigan. If I had time to go out of my way to write a review; it was not for fun. Please heed my advice. Do not support a casino that can't even treat their employees fair! Sincerely, a very loyal patron seeking a new casino.
We have been going here last 7 years or so....last 2 haven't been.....We stay at the rv campground....real nice and clean and affordable....19.00 a night for exonomy sites....good price..
Well talked to a person there at campground and new GM took over and teyong to make a name for himself.....raised prices on everything....rv sites went up40% which is crazy....called and talked to a asst director...and he said they called around and righr in tjere what other campgrounds cost....I told him otjer campgrounds don't have a cash cow casino on their property...they need the money to operate...
.this guy didn't care.....so we never went back here since they raised the rv prices.we libein nw Indiana and it was our favorite place to go......
What a shame all because of greed!!!.....hotel prices went up high to also food.......I understand a little rise in prices but when is the last time you got a 40% raise at work?also littlebriver used to have a rv card you stay 5 nigjts you get a free night.....not anymore...they did away with that to....what a shame!I
My husband and I went here for our wedding anniversary. We stayed in hotel overnight. The room was nice with a big fireplace and bed was very comfortable. However the refrigerator was in a random corner with the microwave sitting on top of it. Awful use of a large space. Now to the casino... What a joke! We've been gambling for over 15 years and have never experienced such low paying slots. It was maddening the amount you would win on bonuses and good spins that should have paid well. We heard lots of complaints from many people about this. We were never up once. I was told that casino had new management to blame for this and that they have lost a lot of clientele. We will never return to this casino and recommend not wasting your time or money.
