I'd been hoping for this Casino to get the go ahead and open for over ten years since it's in my home area. Now that it's open I'd have to tell my friends to avoid going since the payouts are so bad and table limits are high. It's not uncommon to go through $500 in a couple hours without playing anything bigger than quarters! If they get the least bit busy on the tables even during a week day, they raise the minimums to $10 or higher. Some times it looks like they would rather have people waiting to play a $5 table while the other higher minimum tables set empty. Makes no sense to me at all. I think the sooner the "Station Casinos" management team is gone the better off GLC will be. This is Wayland Mi., not Vegas! The players club is the biggest joke of all. If you go 2-3 days per week and spend 4-6 hrs. per day playing you will get a whopping 5-10 dollars per week of free play which will last all of 2-3 mins. Same on your Birthday..........maybe a free cookie all the way up to 3X points. BIG DEAL!!!! If your within 1.5 hours of any other Casino in Mi. do yourself a favor and avoid Gun Lake until they change their attitude about how much to payout and how to treat their loyal guests!!
