I know when you think 'indian casino', the first thing that pops into your mind is "these people are a bunch of crooks!"...
However, this casino is one of my favorites thus far. I drive 40 minutes extra to avoid the Detroit casinos, in favor of playing here.
I have hit several large jackpots, including a $1,200, $700, and $600... As well as hitting numerous smaller jackpot ($100-$200). Even when I lose, I am still usually able to enjoy the entertainment value of playing long enough to have a good time, and having a few drinks over the coarse of the day.
No hotel, aside from a Quality Inn next door.
table games were good. Low minimums, easy access.
Excellent service, I've had several people approach me while i'm playing and ask if I needed a drink, no long lines at the bar.
Comps are OK, but not great.
The food was low quality/overpriced... Buffet, rinky dink cafe w/ turkey sandwiches, as well as a "fancy retaurant".
I was disappointed in the "fancy restaurant", since I spent $200 for dinner for 2 (2 Seafood Jackpots, 2 sides, 2 appetizer)... Which was essentially mass produced food, cooked in industrial sized batches, and served on a fancy plate.
the food wasn't terrible at all, just a little over priced. For the price I payed for dinner, I expected hand prepared, chef inspired food. But it was essentially food that was disguised as such.
