Living 100 miles from this casino, we originally vary much liked it over the rest in Detroit or Souring Eagle Casino's. But today I have decided that until they are more responsive to the RV's that helped start them, they can forget our coming there ever again.

Not just an RV issue, also Semi Trucks and any pickup truck towing trailer as well. Totally unacceptable - went the other morning and there was at the most 20 vehicles in the entire parking area for the casino. We had truck and cargo trailer - and were not allowed to park anywhere, expect "out in the boonies" - in a gravel lot, which was muddy, frozen, not frozen, sloppy, etc. etc., and no "ride" from there to the casino either.

We actually drove up to the front door/drop off area and I went inside to check on where to park (as before we were told no cargo trailers in casino parking lots, and the security guard I spoke with was very rude - said if that was the rule before, why do you think it would be different now?! I replied with because prior, we were told that "the issue" was being looked into. His reply was you'll be lucky if anything is done/changed in 5 years.

After that rude greeting if you will, husband decided to pull over/out of the way (again - not more than 20 cards ANYWHERE in their parking lots) and stay in the truck, while I went in to play for 10 to 15 minutes. A different security guard at that point walked over to where he was parked/waiting for me and told him he would still have to go out to the "back forty". So, off he went and 3 minutes later I called him and said I was headed out, so he drove back into the casino front door area and picked me up.

Sorry to be so long winded .... but really trying to get the point across that it is just plain unacceptable to have a public place like a casino and right off a main highway, and not be able to pull in and park if you are anything other than a car or pickup truck - without a trailer.

As far as replying to other posts about the slot machines (as that is what we mainly play) .... very tight, and if you do receive "house money/credits" to use on your rewards card ..... even more tight while using "that money".

Haven't been to the new Gun Lake Casino yet - but sure hope they don't pull the same stupid move that Firekeepers has with the parking/vehicle issues.
