This casino is one of the nicer ones in the Detroit Market. One of the unique things about this property is that it is smoke-free. The buffet is very nice and recently remodeled. The hotel has great views, an indoor pool, and a spa. It's on the total rewards system, but comps seem to have gotten super tight.

Have to admit that I've stopped going to this property for the following reasons: comps/FreePlay have seriously evaporated since this has become part of the Ceasars/Harrah's empire, tired of the long waits at border crossings (bridge and tunnel), unfavorable exchange rate (and conversion costs), fewer machines, poor lighting, crowds, noise, and lack of play for my gambling dollar (insert the phrase "vacuum wallet"). On the plus side, staff has been very friendly, the entire gaming floor is non-smoking, Buffet has great selection (although a little pricey) and beverage service was quite satisfactory. Word of advice: avoid this property if you detest crowds, especially crowded on weekends and when there's live entertainment in their new stage-a-torium. But they are bringing in bigger-name acts!! Have always enjoyed overnight stays in hotel, but serious lack of food overnight/early morning.

Nice place to visit if you like Vegas. Non-smoking and very clean. Hotel is clean with very nice spacious rooms. Breakfast time is very busy and slow service. The buffet has improved over the past few years.

The hotel is great. It has been recently remodeled and updated. very spacious rooms, excellent customer service. they have one of the largest casinos in the area with two full floors of gaming space. I have been going to this casino for the past five years since it became a total rewards casino to keep my points active. the slots seem to be a little tight compared to others but is well worth the trip. the comps are very good for slots club players which help offset the hassles at the border and the ever changing currency exchange. the food is pricey but is good with plenty of seating. short waits at the buffet. Only real downfall is the lack of choices for breakfast on site.

Caesar Windsor is by far the nicest casino in the Detroit area. The casino is big and feels very spacious and open. They always have a lot of entertainment and promotions going. It's nice that it's a Harrah's property now for those who go to Vegas. Parking garage is well lit and good spaces are usually open. Hotel is very nice and affordable with those who have some comps. Base rate is pretty high for those without comps. Buffet is pretty decent, but the price is high. Sports bar is also pretty nice, but also on the high side. Table minimums aren't bad. Casino is smoke free which is nice for people who don't smoke. Casino almost feels that busy unless a big concert is going on. The biggest problem Caesars has here is that people without a passport can't get to it. Even for people like me who have a passport it's sometimes not worth the hassle. I hate to say it but the fact is US customs people are something of the biggest A**holes around and make it not worth the hassle of going over and going back. It also cost something like $4 each way over the bridge which is a ripoff too.
