We live in Texas and my wife and I win a lot here. 2 1/2 hr drive for us. Food not the best, unless eating at the Rosewater grill. Slots seem to be looser here for us and we gamble Vegas, and Lake Charles at least 15-20 x a year, including Bahamas and cruises some. In the high roller room I have won as much as $26000.00 with 8 hand pays over a 24 hour period and lost as much as $8000.00. NO table games here but good choice of slots. We have a Slot host and perks are fantastic. Prefer Golden Nugget for the experience/ food/hotel but do not win as much there. Lauberge has stepped up their comps in the last 6 months so may revisit. Have had the best luck at Delta, Lauberge then Nugget in that order. Spent the same amount of money and time at all three over a 3 yr period. Remember the slots are random, you are not going to win every time you go, just adjust the way you play to fit your bankroll and have fun. I look at it as entertainment dollars and you may win and the odds are not in your favor but it does happen.
