Okay after losing 120 dollars in lass than 30 minutes during my last visit, and posting it in the review, I received an email encouraging me to give the Isle another try. I did and even stayed the night,. Here's the joy of this story. Lost $100 in over an hour this time. Played all sorts of machines at all sorts of pay levels. Hit bonus games that paid no more than $10 and as little as $2. OH BOY!!! Went to the buffet. HAHAHA. More like the truck stop servings of the new and improved Isle. Bathrooms in the casino and not the hotel. $22 a person because someone added crab legs and leather beef to the menu. Aldi sells the same legs for less than $10 a bag. Prices of the buffet are not posted so ask if you have your doubts. Crab legs sucked. Roast beef looked like leftovers. Selection on on the buffet were high in fat, sodium and basically all just crap. Oh and nice job stealing the Jumer theme for your new and improved restaurant. Your old one upstairs was a millions times better than this over priced crap. Oh and when did it become too much of an effort to cancel a transaction to refund someone when they realize they are being charged $44 for a buffet??? And thanks for the leftovers and short selection on the $10 per person breakfast buffet the next day. Only consolation was the newly remodeled south tower. Smaller than rooms on the north side but nice nonetheless. It'll make for a nice stop over when I visit the QC the next time because that is all the Isle is worth. I will give props to Keller on the go because the food there hasn't changed any and it is still worth the price. Spent many a year at the Isle and lost way too many dollars thinking that things might be better. Those hopes are in the trash along with my player's club card because I won't pay another dollar to this place again. Nothing is new and improved about this place other than the losses to pay for some crappy makeover to make everyone believe the p[lace was going to better.

we drive from Chicago area 1 or 2 times a month. always free rooms. sometimes upgrade to suite. always enough to get comp in their steakhouse, every trip. she plays penny slots and I play poker and blackjack. poker room is small 4 tables. mostly 3-6 limit games table games lots of $5.00 tables for blackjack. most dealers are nice and fun to be at their tables. rooms are clean and the steakhouse food is awesome.

Daytime craps dealers are very very rude, will do anything thing to mess up a precision shooter or dice setter.

Not sure what is happening but things seemed to have gone downhill over the four years I visited this casino. I used to be able to park my motorhome in the parking lot on the south end as you come into the property. However, the last time I was there I was told I had to go park on the north end and in the employee parking lot. Way too crowded for a 40' RV. The food in the buffet certainly was not near the quality as before. And like others, I found the slots to be a lot tighter.

I reviewed the Isle several years ago with a completely different feeling. The video poker machines haven't been upgraded in years. Some of the screens are worse than a 1950's TV set in a thunderstorm. None have been replaced in the last 5 years and no additions have been made.

Penny slots are another story. More and more are added all the time. This is a low roller casino and the upkeep and cleanliness show it. Rumor was that this boat was to be replaced by a new land based casino and it better happen fast. If the hull of this tub is kept up as well as the interior you had better keep a life jacket handy.
