We go to this place because my wife likes to gamble, we travel from Illinois because of the stupid no smoking ban at Illinois casinos. My wife is a heavy smoker, a chain smoker to be exact. I don't smoke so I play downstairs in the no smoking area. My wife has to hide her cigarettes from view because she is constantly being harassed by people asking her for a cigarette, Newport 100's, the brand most commonly smoked by most people there, one woman recently got hostile with my wife after she was told NO several times by my wife that she don't share her cigarettes. The woman attempted to play the RACE card saying "you honky m fer's all da same, never give nuffin to us colored folks". Other people around my wife told this woman to back off and leave as they were uncomfortable with her being around. The woman persisted to be a jerk so we left. This place needs to be better monitored, if people are just walking around with no money, harassing people who are there trying to have a good time, these people need to be escorted out of the casino. It isn't as bad as it used to be, when these nasty people would sit at a game, not playing it, but had the nerve to tell you if you wanted to play that machine it would cost you $20 for the chair, cuz "weez be holdin it" One time we were there, 3 people were holding up 3 machines, demanding payment for the right to play them, security didn't do a damn thing, again we left. So we quit going on Friday and Saturday nights, we now go early in the morning when the casino is not as crowded, and the nasty peoples are not around.
