For the customer who is reading this, just know its the Truth. The Seminole hardrock of Tampa used to be a great place to go have fun and to gamble. That stopped several years ago and ever since then it has gotten worse and worse and worse. they have a contract with the state of Florida meaning no one else can open any table games or other casinos to come here cause the Seminoles own the rights and by that contract they do not have to answer to anybody. There is no gaming commission to regulate these crooks and they could do whatever the hell they please and they do it. Trip advisor is now known for posting fake reviews and being paid to post reviews and to hurt other businesses and to make any business look good and hard rock has them in their back pocket. 90% of the reviews of the Hard Rock Casino are false or fake. most of the reviews are nothing but advertising analyze to get people like you to believe it so you could go in there and basically be taken for a fool. They are the most profitable casino in the entire world, Tampa alone profited 2 billion dollars last year but thats what they are claiming cause im sure they made alot more cause they do not audit anything. Most slot machines have a audit system that shows how much money goes in and how much goes out or how many jackpots are paid and its recorded but these little displays are well hidden I know where they are and I have taken the numbers down and gone back and guess what the numbers are still the same so basically they have it turned off they don't do no audit at all you cannot tell what they are making. They are crooks. most state laws have to have slot machines to pay out 85% on a dollar that's the lowest the Tampa Hard Rock Casino I would say and I'm not joking or lying or exaggerating that their payout is between 12 to 18 percent on a dollar I'm serious. here's a perfect example and it's true I was playing midnight treasures and I play max bet which is $8.00 a spin. I got the bonus round 10 free spins at $8 a spin and it paid me a whopping $9.00 dollars. there is a lot more I want to say and I will but right now I don't have the time I will write another review and the people of hard rock you know who you are I have no respect for you people anymore ,,really you guys can screw off I hate liars and thieves I cannot stand them and you people are both!!!!!

Just because you go to a casino and lose money it doesn't mean that the casinos are "crooks."

Quite frankly, you are expected to lose when you go to a casino and it is rare when you win, especially when playing lower denomination slot machines as you are facing about a 12% house edge.

I haven't played at the Tampa casino, but I have played at the Seminole Hard Rock in Hollywood, Florida.

The games are fine and I have no problem playing there. Even thought they don't publish the payback percentages, I don't think that the games are any worse than at any other south Florida casinos.

I mostly play video poker and the Hollywood Hard Rock casino has video poker paytables that are better than many other casino here and that would lead me to believe that their slot machines are also "looser."

I have also been to their Classic casino, as well as their Coconut Creek casinos. The video poker pay tables are "tighter" at those places, but I still think that the games are no worse than you will find at most other south Florida casinos.

I live near Hard Rock Hollywood and let me tell you, there is a HUGE difference between the two. There is competition around the Hollywood Hard Rock. Calder, Gulfstream, Marti Gras, Isle One, Micosukkee, Coconut Creek, the old seminole, Magic City, Hialeah Park, etc. I go "casino hopping" almost every weekend and have been for the past 12 or so years. Rarely leave broke.
In Tampa, there is nothing besides the Hard Rock. I have had many winning days at Hollywood. The Tampa Hard Rock payouts are very, very, very, very, very bad. 4 dollar bet on Raging Rhino with a total of 70 free spins and won the bonus guarantee with not one winning spin. You put 100s in and will go directly to 0. Slot payout %s must be somewhere in the 10% range where they are between 85% and 94% in South Florida.
It's a shame because I moved to Tampa recently and have to save up for casino trips to South Florida because I will not ever go play at that place ever again. Every review that is negative is absolutely true, and the positive reviews are by Hard Rock staff and promoters.
I am not saying all this because of one or two bad days, but the past few years losing over 10k with no payback, at all.

Tampa Hard Rock. Is the worst. I agree 100% with everything this forum has said. It a shame they have a Monopoly in Tampa. Thank Rick Scott and the other cronies that run Florida Legislation. Why would anyone agree to accept a deal for a monopoly and a casino of all places. Follow the money trail.

Tampa Hard Rock sucks. I am one of those Tampa people who watched this place grow from a tiny bingo hall pre 2003. It used to be good, with decent wins and payouts, but now... It's 2017. They just did a multimillion dollar renovation, guess who paid for that. Payouts have got tighter and tighter over the years where now, you can walk in with 2 grand and leave an hour later with not one win or bonus on nothing. Why I say that is because three times, I lost around 2 grand in or under an hour on the two cent slots. That doesn't even happen to high rollers in Vegas. Their comps suck bad. Really, really bad. They don't even try to draw anyone in because they are the only casino in a 250 mile radius with no competition, so they know they will be packed all the time. I get more free play a month from casino's I haven't been too for 5 years. I get about 10 dollars free play here in Tampa while losing thousands each month. They are stingy, greedy, and their slots are like a graveyard of dead spins.

This man is not lying to you. I have gone to Tampa for years and always take a least $1000 with me and never walk out with gas money!
