My husband and I lived in Indiana for 30 years so we went to all of the casinos in the Midwest (French Lick, Casino Aztar, in Peoria IL, etc), as well as to Las Vegas many times. We have NEVER lost $100 within 1 hour of being at a slot. Usually, I can play all night with $20 and can walk away with a little extra. Although we were pleasantly surprised with the restaurants, bars, and outside entertainment, we lasted only about 2 hours in the casino. To top that off, I asked for a glass of wine while playing which was $14 for a small glass of reisling (should have been $5 tops)! We would go back to this Hard Rock only for a concert and to eat or drink - never again to gamble! BTW, we stayed at the Hard Rock in Tampa for New Years and played until 4 AM there so that one is OK in our book.
