Staying here over the July 4th holidays till Monday. Had comp rooms as a Diamond member. Arrived about 1pm and had to wait for an available room till about 30-45 minutes later. Finally checked into a room with 2 queen beds on 2nd floor. On the floors hallways are dated with old brown carpets lining the hallways to rooms. Decent Queens beds in room with comfortable sheets and 3 pillows on each bed. Had to call housekeeping for coffee maker and microwave. Unless you are Diamond member and up there is a $10 up charge for microwave otherwise it's free. WiFi is reasonable in room and in resort but only allowed 2 free devices per room. 3rd and 4th devices is an up charge. That sucks. Bathroom is dated with tub, rubber suction floor mat and old school shower heads. No body lotion in bathroom. Housekeeping does not make up room daily to change towels etc. Have to call housekeeping for extra towels and toiletries daily. Brought my own coffee maker as the free cheap coffee is weak and I need strong coffee daily. Room has fridge and usb plugs on night stand so that's a plus. Casino is smoking and games are spacious and updated with all the latest features.
No food court. A burger place, Chinese restaurant and steakhouse in casino. Don't see any valets when you pull up front to hotel. Free self parking in garage or outdoors.
Security has to scan DL upon entry into casino each time. A pain in the ass!!!

Great casino. Even though I have never hit a jackpot there I have seen plenty hit. Mostly in the high limit room on $10 and $25 slots. Also see $5 slots hit, a lot close to total rewards desk. Buffet is upscale but food is not all that. 8 oz cafe is delicious and I recommend it. Table games are fair. When playing blackjack it is worth to play the plus 3 poker side bet. Roulette is good also. Green hits a lot FYI! The mail in offers are fair, accordingly to your play not your card level. A high roller gold player who has been a couple times will get better comps than a minimum play diamond player any day. More of an asset. The diamond lounge is nice but no food just fruit and crackers. Starbucks is great and hotel rooms are in the top 3 in Tunica. Hotel rooms list: 1. goldstrike 2. Horseshoe. 3. Veranda 4. Fitz. 5. Roadhouse. 6. Sams town 7. Terrace

I noticed the last time I ate at the buffet that there had been a noticeable cut back in both number of items and quality. I used to really look forward to the sushi but it was gone as was a number of the selections. In addition, the barbeque seemed to have changed. It was always tender and juicy but seemed too dried up and not fresh. I may have hit on a bad day, but several others commented that it was not what it used to be. And the desserts seemed to have gone green, there were grapes, apples, etc. and no chocolate. If I wanted healthy, I'd go to a gym! I've never done too well gambling at this casino but you can' win everywhere.

Just passing through so we did not stay at the hotel. First time at a Harrah's so the players club system was strange to us but seemed OK. They gave us a free buffet which while not as extravagant as some in Vegas, the food quality and flavor was as better than anything I have tried in Vegas including Planet Hollywood (highly rated) and any of the various MGM hotels in Vegas. If I were a local, I would come here to eat often.

Nice casino, wait staff seemed pretty decent to me. I think the video poker was OK compared to Vegas as most of those pay tables are down these days as well.

Only stayed a short while, but will come here over the Indian Casinos in OK even though the drive is an hour further each way. Look forward to going back and staying a night in the hotel.
