Nice casino close to snowmobile trail. Nice comfortable rooms. Food not so good. Slot selection needs improvement. Needs a high stakes room. Jackpots hard to come by. Slots appear to be somewhat tight. While the casino has been updated earlier this year, there is room for improvement in the food selections. Buffet only available on weekends. Food court the remainder of the week.

I thoroughly enjoy my time at Lac Vieux Desert Casino playing their games. The quality of slots has gone UP significantly in the past year although payouts have not followed that pattern :( I've won a few jackpots here which is always nice.
The Superior Club card is handy although LVD is very stingy on giving out points. I like to go to the casino on Fridays now which is 5x points so you accrue points nicely. The weekly free comp I receive on my card is nice but could, again, be a bit more generous.

Sometimes the bar gets a little loud and rowdy but I usually avoid that area.

They have some really surprisingly good bands on the weekends occasionally also. Nice to listen to while playing.

I and my family eat here at this casino about once a week and although it is NOT EXCELLENT, its pretty darn good!! I appreciate the free food coupons I receive through the Superior Club and use them religiously.

Staff employees go back and forth, some are friendly, some are not. Eh, what can you do?? I always use the side door and about 90% of the time, the security guard is there opening the door and welcoming me and my party, which is nice.

Through the Superior Club, I receive free hotel rooms monthly and I have stayed here and the hotel rooms are very nice, clean...the suits and fireplace units are especially roomy and comfy. I highly recommend it.

The food was terrible and my friend used his bank card to pay and the next week was contacted by his bank that his card number had been stolen and $700 worth of charges were on it and that was the only place he had used it in some time. Some employees are friendly but others are quit the opposite. They never smile and look at you more like a burden than a customer that they should be aiming to please. Slot machine choices have gone downhill in the last several years as well.

From Illinois, the last three years, I've been here 6 times. Just got back last week. Checked their website before I got there, and very fair comps. Was there about 3 hours on a Saturday night after a fishing tournament (couldn't stay any longer) Video Poker very good payouts, and hit a nice slot for $300!!!!! I have stayed at the hotel and it is very nice with a nice pool. I did not eat here but they have had problems with the restaurant (according to the locals) I have played the golf course last year and it is in decent shape. It's a nice place to unwind. Only had 2 blackjack tables that night, craps, roulette, and a couple of exotic card games (3 card, and something else).

Used to be a great place to go! Had great food and fantastic marketing for players, now, just a spot on the map! Give nothing or very little to customers, no entertainment, food is down the drain, management has no clue on "how to run a casino" There are so many other casinos in the area to choose from, this one will close one day for good!
