Many people ask, “are casinos legal in Texas?” The short answer is yes. However, there are some details that must be included. They are only allowed if they are located on a boat and sail out to international waters or if they are located on federally recognized indian reservation. but even then, there is still some room for dispute.
The state is in a legal fight to try and shut down one of the two Texas casinos, Naskila Gaming, but it has not been successful and the casino is still open. However, be sure to call the casino ahead of time if planning a trip there.
