Love the Bay!
This place is a locals little secret. Great place for local casino workers to gather after shift. Mike the bartender is aces. Players club could be more generous but the hospitality of the employees more than makes up for the lack of any real players club incentive. Valet can be slow... really is the only negative thing I can find. Good variety of machines and table games. The Den on the first floor is the place to eat. Affordable food cooked to order and delicious. Good number of video poker machines. Those are hard to find in some other venues. Hotel has been clean and quiet the times I stayed overnight. A I will return asap!

My wife and I have stayed at the Treasure Bay on 3 occasions in April and May 2010. We initially stayed due to a low hotel rate but have returned based on the pleasant surprises the casino has to offer.

The positives: good gaming, great cocktail service, nice hotel, nice pool, low stakes, friendly employees.

The players club will reimburse up to a $100 in losses for your first day of gambling in the form of "free play" added to your card the following day after 10 AM. My wife lost only $15 after a full day of gambling and sadly I came out ahead and received no free play the following day.

The gaming floor is small and the casino is spread out over 2 floors. If you enjoy low stakes table games you will love Treasure Bay. They don't have enough variety in their slot machines but I suspect it's due to the small size of the casino.

Cocktail service is top notch and you can even sit at one of their bars and drink free all night for as little as 25 cents a bet on video poker.

The 2 tier swimming pool is very nice, the rooms have flat screen TV with a ton of channels and you also get FREE wireless internet.

The negatives: Small property and 4 miles or more to other casinos

We visited in January, 2008. The casino is in the old (pre-Katrina) hotel and is split up.

It's on two floors, like well, there's some room here and there, so let's put the casino in here. Felt like we were in a small casino.

The people were friendly. There were a few newer machines, but not all of my favorites. Did not stay to eat. The machines were not good to us.
