Visitors to southeast Florida area should be sure to make a visit to one of the area’s largest gaming properties, the Seminole Casino Coconut Creek.

The casino originally opened in March 2000 with 900 gaming machines and live poker in a comparatively plain 30,000-square-foot facility.

In 2012, the property underwent a $150 million expansion and the resort now features a 100,000-square-foot casino housing more than 2,300 of the latest slot machines, a very unique Players Club, six restaurants and a 2,400-space parking garage.

Besides slot machines, the casino also offers over 70 table games including blackjack and baccarat, along with popular novelty games such as Pai Gow Poker, Let It Ride, Casino War, Ultimate Texas Hold’em, Spanish 21, Mississippi Stud and Three Card Poker. There is also high stakes no-limit action in the resort’s 24-hour, completely non-smoking, 23-table Stax Poker Lounge that offers players a wide variety of tournaments.

In early 2016 the property added a new Level2 area for a smoke-free gaming environment. Located on the second floor, Level2 features over 100 slots, along with live blackjack as well as a lounge/bar and dining.

The main focal point in the center of the regular casino is the plush High Limit gaming area complete with its own bar/lounge, high limit slots and 12 table games.

The casino also boasts a one-of-a-kind Players Club. Called “Players Club Xperience” which offers electronic guest interaction technology for visitors.

The innovative player’s club is always running promotions and for first-time members the club offers either $25 in freeplay for gaming machines, or $100 in matchplay for its live blackjack games. Plus, if a new member presents another Florida casino player’s club card showing an upper tier membership, they can be upgraded to ELITE status and receive up to $200 in matchplay.

There’s also the 1st Street Deli, a 7,000-square-foot New York-style eatery; The Sunset Grill, a casual outdoor sports bar and restaurant; and the always popular Fresh Harvest buffet restaurant which was named “Best Buffet By Far” in the local Sun-Sentinel newspaper.
