June, 2008 – Located at Park Place and the Boardwalk, Bally’s Atlantic City first opened in 1979 and has only grown bigger. In 1997, Bally’s opened the western-themed Wild Wild West Casino and in 2003, the property merged with the adjacent Claridge Hotel and Casino, making it one of the largest Atlantic City casinos.

All three of the properties are connected by walkways, so visitors can virtually stroll the boardwalk without leaving the comfort of the property or having to worry about weather conditions.

Guests of Bally’s can stay and play in this gambler’s paradise featuring over 220,000 square feet of gaming in total.

The Hotel 

The resort offers 1,753 guest rooms, all of which feature in-room coffee maker, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, refrigerator, safe and Internet access. Deluxe and premium rooms offer additional features, including plasma TVs and granite counters and floors in the bathrooms. All rooms are environmentally friendly thanks to Bally’s “Green Earth” program and range in price from $118 to $400.

Guests of the hotel can take advantage of many on-site amenities, including a family fun center with arcade games and prizes, a full-service salon offering a range of hair and nail services, a 40,000 square foot spa facility and a fully equipped fitness center at the Claridge. The resort also has an indoor pool, featuring a full skylight, whirlpool and an outdoor deck (open seasonally).

Restaurants

There are 10 restaurants at Bally’s offering everything from fine dining to a quick, casual snack.

Arturo’s specializes in Italian cuisine, serving everything from milk-fed veal to calamari and scallops with the dining area overlooking the boardwalk and Atlantic Ocean.

The Red Pearl offers Asian-style cuisine in a hip, yet formal setting. Specialties include Peeking Duck, Stir-Fried Filet Mignon and Lobster, and the Spicy Sizzling Halibut Filet. If you would like to have some Asian cuisine in a more casual setting, Bally’s also has The Noodle Village. Here, guests can dine on authentic Vietnamese and Chinese cuisine in a fast, friendly atmosphere.

The Reserve serves up steak and seafood as well as veal, pork and lamb. On Sundays, The Reserve also offers a buffet-style Sunday Brunch (reservations strongly suggested).

The Virginia City Buffet serves up various types of cuisine in an all-you-can-eat dining environment. Stations include Asian, Italian, shrimp, carving, soup and salad, and dessert. Players Club members can receive a free meal at the buffet after playing for 30 minutes on their Total Rewards Card.

For something small, The Bagel and Doughnut Connection, Ben and Jerry’s and Gold Tooth Gertie’s all offer casual, café style dining while Johnny Rocket’s serves hamburgers and fries, while Pickles has deli-style sandwiches.

The casino at Bally’s offers Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat, Mini-Baccarat, Pai Gow Poker, Spanish 21, 4-Card Poker, 3-Card Poker, Let it Ride, Caribbean Stud Poker, Pai Gow Tiles, Asia Poker, Craps, Big-6-Wheel, Keno and Rapid Roulette as well as 1,000s of slots and video poker machines and a poker room.

Blue Martini offers 100 different types of Martinis in a chic setting with an ice rail built into the bar so your drink will always stay cold. They also offer live music on Friday and Saturday nights.

Sammy’s Beach Bar is open seasonally and, owned by rock star Sammy Hagar, offers live music Thursday – Saturday and DJ’s throughout the week in a Cabo Wabo themed atmosphere. There is also a Tex-Mex restaurant serving up various Mexican specialties.
