For the buffet crab nights are awsome other buffet days I don't care for the food. I have good days most of the time. I win large bonus payouts on slots all the time, 5 or 6 some days.
I knew this day was coming..My wife and I are once a month visitors to Potawatomi..We grab our free breakfast which we always enjoy and then plunk down a few hundred playing slots..Well, this past Saturday,1-30, we went, ate our food and headed off to play our favorite slots..Bad news,,In the last month, they REMOVED most of the 25 cent 3 reelers! There is probably about 20 left and I do not care for any of them They removed at least 40 machines and replaced them with penny machines..Not for me..Looks like we won't be going there as often anymore..Very disapointed.
I only go on my birthday when I get points in my birthday month or twice a year and spend no more then 50 bucks and after around 30 bucks on BINGO the rest is on food. For me I do not expect to win anything and if I do great. It's fun for me and I know my financial limits. I must say they have changed a great deal over the years but somebody has to pay for the upgrades.
Everyone rants and screams about "tight" slot machines...have been to Vegas, Iowa, Illinois, and other places and slots are slots...they are not ATM machines nor should they be. They are randomized and programmed to allow for payouts based on a number of indices...timing, wagers, what the machine next to it is doing, previous payouts, etc. If you want to hop on a machine that just spit out a payout of $2000 to person sitting there before you, don't expect the same result...IT DOESN"T HAPPEN!!!!! I've found two bits of advice given to me way back when when playing slots: look for a machine that seems "abandoned" and having been sitting idle for a while; don't use your Membership Card if you are wanting a big "hit"/payout...I have hit bigger payouts and progressive jackpots when not using my card then when using it. Of course I lost out on the "session points" afforded me when they track my playing time and wagers, but the total amount WON erased the pain of losing enough free points to pay for a buffet lunch!
