Don't waste your time. They are con artist. Machines never pay out and food is terrible. We've been going here for a while and can never win. The food is over priced and taste like its been fried in old grease. I'm done with this place. I'm going to try potawatami. At least I win there.

I have wasted thousands and thousands every year at Dejope, yes I have a gambling problem. Somebody should tie me up when I even think of going. The smoker's stink is all over the place even in the non-smoking area. I have tried eating there and the food is horrible, wont eat there again, don't want to chance getting sick on the food and dirtyness. Employees are rude. The slot machines are greasy dirty and I wonder if they are ever cleaned with disinfectant. You can't really win, if you do win a little it either makes up a tiny portion of what you have spent that trip or it is so little it is just a little playing money. I don't like to use a players card because it is the casino's way of keeping track of your every movement in the casino, what machine you were on, for how long, how much you wagered how much you won. Techs at both Ho-Chunk & Dejope have told me that it is a lie that the slot machines payouts can't be regulated, they can be set for what percentage to pay out, sometimes I think it is minus percent. And when they say they have paid out all the millions they advertise, it is just like the win-loss statement you get, every penny the machine gives you counts as part of their advertised pay outs. This is a racket for indian casinos to take our money, and it is our own stupid fault for going there. I could of bought many houses with the money I blew. Somebody knock some sense into me. We need state regulated casinos with fair payouts, maybe with competition these indian casinos would be more fair. I should just hand my money to the indian casino people when I walk in the door and then go home and not waste my time. save your money for your food housing kids and grandkids.

I really tried to give this place a shot but after spending about $50,000 there this year only managing to eek out about $6000 in wins I can honestly say this place is not for me. Jackpots are rare if ever and the number of jackpots that could end you in the + column for the year are almost non existent. It wouldn't be so bad if you could walk in with $500 and play all night or how about 2 or 3 nights but it is rare to see it last more than an hour. Seldom do you see $500 or $1000 wins to make it interesting. Their big deal is a progressive that has about 100 machines hooked to it that goes off every 3 or 4 days but the machines really don't pay max bettors except for the jackpots and the odds just aren't that good when money just doesn't last. Their reward program is a joke. The most you can get is $100 a week in comps which lasts an average of 20 minutes and when you spend $500 to a $1000 a night what kind of "Reward" is that. There is some good help but most of the help is unfriendly and uninspired probably because no one gets jackpots to tip them with. They also play little attention to the type of crowd they let in. I have had numerous people beg for money from me and there are many people that just troll the casino for jackpots to beg when you win. They do nothing to change this either since most of their gamblers are playing 30 or 40 cents a pull. I would just stay away and not get started. I just announced my retirement and I will wait for them to close and for the state to wake up and bring in some competition.

Seriously, don't waste your money, you can't win more than a pittance here, the tightest slots I've ever played. It's amazing to me that anyone goes to this casino & that Ho Chunk is allowed to operate in this state. Apparently they don't have to answer to the gaming commission on their pathetic "pay outs" The grill is over priced & the selection is less than a low rent hamburger joint.
