Even though I spend my summers at the resort, I will not be gambling there anymore. The people are very friendly, and the food is good and reasonably priced.

Staff very friendly and players club gave nice benefits. We did not see anyone win on anything. I saw a couple of bonuses, even got one myself and they paid nothing. Would not go back. (Good ice cream though. :))

The surrounding country is very beautiful.

The casino is kind of dumpy, but at least it offers good blackjack rules (which is why I gave it 3 stars instead of 2).

The blackjack rules are dealers stands on soft 17 (only one other casino in the state does this), double after split allowed as is resplit aces. No surrender.

There was no poker room last time I visited. They may actually have real VP. I didn't get a chance to check that out. This is because for a long time this casino was operating without a tribal compact and therefore not connected to the state "video lottery" terminals. That may change as they are now negotiating a new compact.

Overall, this is worth a stop if you happen to be traveling through the area and if you at least play blackjack.

A good time for a little $$. The people are friendly and the food is great!
